This is definitely heavily influenced by the German thrash bands of the 80's, the vocalist does well at sounding a lot like Mille from Kreator. Great, intense thrash metal.
Favorite track: Gas Chamber.
Armament are one of the most exciting thrash metal bands to emerge from India. Having set fire to stages around the country, they are all set to release their debut album titled 'First Strike' internationally. The music is most reminiscent of the classic Teutonic thrash trio - Sodom, Kreator and Destruction - while it also bears similarities to early Slayer and lends a bit from the South American raw thrash sound. It's something no real thrash metal fan can resist or live without. The production remains earthen, organic, relatable if you will, to the underground aesthetic of this band, whose bassist has literally hand-drawn the artwork and the entire three-panel booklet. The passion, enthusiasm and determination is palpable in the music and the expression it's been given. It's steely, raw, and dripping with metal. The first strike itself is deadly.
